If you've never visited Accrington before, then make sure you venture out and about...

Haworth Art Gallery, which houses the largest collection of Tiffany Glass in Europe is located in Accrington and is well worth a visit. The Haworth stands in 9 acres of glorious parkland, and this wonderful Edwardian mansion also features exciting regularly changing exhibitions and a wonderful permanent art collection. Make sure you also pay a visit to Oswaldtwistle Mills, a shopping experience with a difference, and Lancashire's 3rd most popular tourist attraction! Imagine an Aladdin's Cave of fabrics, crafts, pottery, ceramics and now even a garden centre. You can also explore a real sweet factory, pay a visit to the Textile Museum and for the younger ones there's the Bubbles Play Centre.

Whilst you're in Accrington you'll also be able to visit the Victorian Market Hall, the oldest building of its kind in Lancashire, follow the Acorn Trail, the town's self-guided walk, or simply browse the high street and specialist shops.
